MANET2201

The MANET2201 is a rugged IP66 manpack MANET mesh transceiver in a body worn form factor. Offering a full 4 watts of output power, employing twist-lock battery for easy replacement, it is ideal for a variety of tactical mesh deployments such as Public Security, Armed Police, Fire Control, Military and Robot. Its multi-hop ability can largely increase the transmission distance, each hop can cover 1-2km NLOS (None-Line-Of-Sight). The up to 82Mbps data rate allows it to transmit video, data and audio at the same time easily. The AES256 encryption ensures the security of data transmission.

Ideally for missions that require superior communicatons of voice/video/data in NLOS multpath rich environments.

Examples of such missions include:

  • Telerobotic / UGV for EOD / IED, recon, surveillance

  • Below-deck wireless networking / ship-boarding

  • Air-to-air & air-to-ground (manned, or unmanned)

  • Urban ops, requiring video links within a building and with units outside the building

  • Autonomous convoy

  • Ship-to-shore high data rate transfer / comms

  • First Responder urban network / relay
