Recently, the national mine rescue team successfully completed a simulated tunnel rescue test, using the latest MANET network communication equipment from LinkAV Technology, which enabled multi-point communication on-site and greatly improved the efficiency of the rescue operation. It is understood that this rescue test took place in a mine with a depth of several hundred meters, simulating a sudden fire accident. In such a situation, the local communication network had collapsed, and traditional communication methods struggled to ensure timely information transmission. To address this challenge, the rescue team introduced the latest MANET network communication equipment. This equipment is based on wireless radio frequency technology and can establish connections among dozens of nodes, forming an independent communication network. In this network, each node can communicate with others, facilitating rapid information transmission.
During the test, the rescue team utilized this MANET network communication equipment to achieve multi-point communication, enabling timely communication among the rescue personnel and keeping them updated on the latest situation. Additionally, the equipment supports video transmission, allowing the rescue personnel to view the accident scene in real-time and make more accurate judgments. Through this test, the rescue team gained a deeper understanding of the performance and reliability of the MANET network communication equipment, providing robust support for future rescue operations. It is reported that the rescue team has widely adopted this equipment in their operations and plans to continue introducing more advanced communication technologies in the future to enhance the efficiency and safety of rescue operations.
